On tap at Beere. Pours clear gold with a white head. Pine, resin, and caramel malts on the nose. Flavour has bitter pine, resins, some dry grass. Stale biscuit malts. Nice and bitter but the hops are jumbled.

On tap at Beere. Pours opaque pale yellow with a white head. Juicy tropical fruits and sugars on the nose. Flavour has generic tropical fruit, orange peels, lots of pith. Mouthfeel is chalkier near the finish. Not great.

On tap at Beere. Pours murky pale yellow with a white head. Juicy tropical fruit and allium on the nose. Flavour is surprisingly bitter with citrus pith, peels, grassy hops, and a minty finish. The usual hazy problems aren't here, but the mint probably shouldn't be there.

473ml can. Pours a cloudy gold yellow with a medium, foamy, short lived, white head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Sweet fruity aroma of bready wheat malt, tangerine, pineapple, mango, coconut, earthy yeast and herbal hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, lime zest, pineapple, coconut, oats, earthy yeast and light piney hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with a thick, creamy, smooth texture and soft carbonation. Thought this was going to be a pickle or dill beer, so the name fooled me. Instead this was juicy and delicious.

On tap at Steamworks Mt Pleasant, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma has some earthy, medium roast coffee, with little else discernible. Flavour is more martini-like with booze, vanilla, and coffee. Harsh and cluttered. Not good malt base and awkward adjunct presence. Doesn’t work.

473 ml can. Pours almost black with full foamy head. Aromas of fresh ground coffee, vanilla, dark sugars, and slick roasted malts. Flavors follow same but with less sweetness. Coffee definitely overwhelms everything else, but tasty for the relatively low ABV. Not sure where the martini comes in…

Pale gold, Just a slight haze. Not much head. Bright hop aroma, sort of a fresh pine, light orange, good pale malt balance. Not bad stuff.

473ml can. Pours an opaque dark brown with a small, creamy, short lived, tan head that laces. Aroma of roasted malt, espresso and earth. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, espresso, dark chocolate and vanilla in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. No idea what this has to do with a martini, but it's an aight stout. I 'spose.
