473mL can. Pours clear gold with a white head. Sweet malts and a bright kick of pine on the nose. Flavour is surprisingly thin with some tired pine and dry malts. Not bad, but really wanting for hop expression.

473ml can. Pours a crystal clear gold with a small, off-white head that laces nicely. Aroma of caramel malt, grapefruit, apricot, floral and piney hops. Sweet fruity flavour of biscuity pale malt, grapefruit, apricot, black pepper and pine resin in a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Surprisingly easy to drink.

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a small, foamy, short lived, white head that leaves spotty lacing. Aroma of bready pale malt and floral hops. Sweet flavour of toasted bready malt, lemon, earth and grassy hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Interesting and easy to drink.

On tap at The Magnet, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of piney hops, some dusty notes, and woody spruciness. Flavour is quite bitter, with woody spruciness, bitter pinecones, and a pronounced astringency. Hop expresion is quite astringent, dusty and lacking some of the finer qualities of well-expressed hops. The structure is good but not the hop expression.

Poured from the tap @ The Drake. Very dark brown with small beige head. Green pepper coffee with some mild roast. Dry, the green pepper throws everything off.

473ml can. Pours a hazy yellow with yeast chunks that sink to the bottom and a medium, foamy, short lived, white head that laces nicely. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, grapefruit, mango, peach, passionfruit, coconut, earthy yeast and light piney hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with a creamy, smooth texture and soft carbonation. Juicy and delicious.

Poured from 473mL can. Clear pale blonde gold with small white head. Oily gooseberry hops, some rice character sticking around. Hops are a bit too subdued, possible it's age (can stamp says 01325 which I assume means Jan 3, 2025, but it's missing a number?), but it's also Beere so it could just be that too...

Pale with slight haze. Ok hop but that weird onion note...for a beer not made with the most oniony hops. Maybe Strata and Riwaka don't go together. Moderate bitterness. There's nothing that's actually objectionable, but it really doesn't come together well on the palate for me.

On tap at Beere, pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma has gentle coffee, some earthiness, and toasted malt. Flavour has a strange green peppery coffee expresion, with a dry earthy finish. That coffee doesn’t come out well at all, and the base beer is thin. Quite flawed.

On tap at Beere, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma has some herbal hops, but no trace of the NZ hops. Flavour is better, with tangy citrusy hops, some oily dankness, and crisp biscuity malt. Tangy, lightly bitter finish. Pleasant stuff.
