On tap at House of Funk, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of earthy bready malt, not a whole lot else. Flavour is malty, with lots of dry crusty bready malt and an earthy overtone to it all. Not a whole lot of depth even for the style, and not exactly dialled in to style. Okay.

On tap at House of Funk, pours a clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma reveals dry bready malt and some earthy fungal notes — not all that pleasant on the nose. Flavour is much the same, with a strange earthy fungal note dominating, followed by bready malt. There's no real malty sweetness or just general depth to the malt. Not very happy with this.

On tap at House of Funk, pours a cloudy pinkish peachy amber with a small white head. Aroma is gentle, with light hibiscus and subdued lacto — not a whole lot going on. Flavour is likewise subdued, with hibiscus, light tartness, restrained citrus hopping, and lacto. Light and pleasant but not all that pleasant. It's alright.

473mL can, pours a hazy golden yellow with a small white head. Nose is full of rustic saison yeast, light brett, and some butter. Flavour is odd, with some rustic saison yeast, a touch of brett, and plenty of diacetyl that ends up destroying this on the back-end for me. Not very competent.

Poured from the tap. Murky gold with small white head. Tons of apricot with a hint of raspberry (seems they switched up the apricot/raspberry proportions this year). Quite tasty.

Draught at the Alibi Room, Vancouver
Hazy blond colour. Moderately Bretty aroma, light fruity esters. The flavour is more dominated by the Brett, and balanced by some stone fruit; refreshing and reasonably complex; it's dry, crisp and enjoyable.

Weak clear gold body and no foam. Snappy floral hops on the nose, forthright at least. Taste is plenty of floral hops, not too obstinate, ends crisp and dry. A nice approach, floral notes are quite prominent and working well.

Weak clear gold body and no foam. Nice soft lager hop aroma, sweet in the right amount. Taste is sweet hops, vague rice grain, finishing smooth. Nice and easy, that's about it.

Hazy yellow body and modest foam. Nice musty pepper grain aroma, orange zest and soft pine. Taste is funky grain, chewy dough and soft fruity notes on the back end. Finishes chewy and dry. Quite enjoyable.
