Description
This team of owner-operators was formed shortly after the group realized they all were after the same thing, just in different parts of the province. Brewer John Folinsbee was planning a brewery in Squamish, industry veteran Marc Roberts had his sights on Vancouver while entrepreneur Ben Reeder and builder Adam Steinberg were looking at brewing in the Cowichan Valley on Reeder’s hop farm. After tasting John’s recipes they decided to go all in and combine forces to build the 6000 square foot brewery, tasting room and kitchen in Squamish.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Murky bright red colour. Strong raspberry aroma, also some light yoghurt. Dry and soft mouthfeel, with moderate acidity, but ovral it's a dirty beer base with strong astringent tannins from the berries.
Messy.

Murky yellow-orange colour. Nice citrus fruit aroma, sweet oranges. The mouthfeel is too chalky, delicate malt base, some citrus peel but not the juicest hops around. Next to the Hold the Onions, this one is more citrusy and more chalky.
Good but dirty.

Murky yellow-orange colour. Citrus fruit aroma, peach, mango. Lean body, the mouthfeel is only mildly chalky, delicate malt base, juicy hops, with orange juice, touch of tropical, passion fruit; low bitterness.
Next to the NarC Roberts, This one has more expressive hops and it's less dirty.

Taster at Alibi. Pours a cloudy blonde with a white head. Aroma is dirty with tropical fruits notes. Similar taste with a bit of dirt, pineapple, and slight toothpaste freshness. Kinda Boombox-style IPA, but less dirty. Good one.

16 oz can poured, gifted by Ferris. Thanks! Shared with the whole Seattle crew. Bonus props to Ferris for gifting a can that berko has not rated. A bright pinkish purple pour that probably glows in the dark. Fun to use this beer as a discovery point for Loganberry. A nice sour here. Not overly tart, but it's there. Flavorful raspberry, blackberry, and an unexpected watermelon like note. A fresh feel with the berry content in this sour. Very refreshing. Good stuff.

Draught at Storm Crow, Broadway, Vancouver; listed 7.9% ABV
Hazy blond colour. The hop aroma is very nice, delicate but deep fruit character, tropical, summer flowers. The mouthfeel is lean and lightly sweet; the malt base is light but it doesn't provide enough crackery quality; the dry hopping gives elegant fruity notes and soft resins, but not enough bitterness.
Possibly the best VCBW beer.
