Hazy, yellow, medium head. Quite fruity, stone fruit. Pineapple, which is assuredly not a stone fruit. Low bitterness. Sweet pale malts. Light body, drinks quickly. I mean the whole tropical vibe fits with warmer winters, I guess.

Pale gold, drops bright. Thin head. Clean, grainy, has a decent malt character. Not much bitterness. Medium body. Ok, definitely more of a mainstream lager replacement.

Oily-looking dark brown, no head. Aroma is coffee, the coffee crisp creaminess comes through more on the palate. A touch boozy in the finish. Moderate richness, but enough. Medium barrel note. Balanced.

Dark brown. It actually pours a bit thin, as pastry stouts go. Not much head. I'm digging the big cinnamon and clove aroma. Lots of coconut in there, too. On the palate, medium thickness (for a modern impy), balanced spices. A dash of ginger, lots of cinnamon, clove, and those are three things that will club the shit out of star anise on the palate, so not surprised those are what I taste. The malt base is sticky dark sugars and coffee. The barrels are refined, rounded. High quality second use stuff, bringing enough to round out the spices but remain balanced. Coconut remains as an accent. This blend of flavours could be a harsh clusterfuck, but I'm finding this well-balanced and tasty.

Blond colour, cloudy to murky. Nice aroma, intense, very juicy, with tropical fruit, freshly cut grass (i.e. there's a vegetable component, but pleasant). Good mouthfeel, soft, creamy, minimally starchy, but that little sweetness, balances things out; juicy hopping, mango, unfortunately ending with some pithy bitterness.
Good Hazy, edgy though, so it may not satisfy everybody.

Black, short lived brown head. Strong alcoholic nose, very light roast. Medium body. Woody, quite sweet with dark fruit notes. Harsh alcohol heat detracts. Not a fan of this type of stout

473mL can, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma reveals plenty of coconut upfront, followed by coffee, and subtle barrels. Flavour is quite sweet, with plenty of coconut, sugars, subtle barrel character, and cocoa. Sugary and coconuty finish, but everything is integrated reasonably. Good stuff.

473n l can. Pours a very dark brown with light fizzy head. Aromas of orange peel, dark chocolate and slick roasted malts with a funny fruity medicinal note. Flavor of powdery dark chocolate, orange liqueur, and rich roasty malts. Alcohol on the finish. Interesting.

473mL can, pours jet black with a small tan head. Nose is overpowering with artificial orange zest powder, chocolate, and a touch of roast. Flavour is likewise over the top on the artificial orange zest/orange peel, along with plenty of chocolate, medum-high sugars, and moderate roast. The warmer this gets, the more that artificial orange bothers me. Not working for me.
