Great berry and lavender mix on the nose, working well together. Has a deep purple body with good pink foam. Flavour is soft berry with some nice lavender character behind it. Mouthfeel is too thin however, kind of watery and the lavender doesn't add the texture it should. But they had me in the first half, not gonna lie.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Hazy pale yellow. Dry apple skin with mild tartness. Fine, but nothing spectacular.

Tasting at Phill's, bottle
Cloudy pale blond colour. Some plastic smell. A bit lemony, a bit funky; there is some plastic and chemicals too.
Interesting, at least it has some character, for a BC cider.

Bottle from the cidery. Has a slight haze, and is a greyish-yellow sort of colour. The aroma is a slightly tannic apple juice. On the palate, it's got a tartness, lots of that, but remains fairly simple. Seems like eating apples, which to be fair is all I've ever seen on the Coast. So a nice crisp, tannic bite, for sure, but not a whole ton of complexity.

Can from the cidery. Has a sort of a dull gold colour. It's got chill haze, too. Does cider do that? Cause I don't think this is a graf. The aroma is a mix of light apple cider notes and floral noble hops. On the palate it's quite hoppy. There's definitely some bitterness, lots of fruity, floral hops, probably more like a kolsch would have than a pilsner, but that's splitting hairs. The cider base is mellow, slightly acidic, and clean. The concept is interesting and I think they've done a good job with it.

Pale gold and bright. Apple and sweet sauvignon, but the stone fruit notes actually work in the finish. So it comes together nicely in the end.

Purple! Lots of elderberry, lavender on the nose. Soft body. On the palate, also lots of berry, a bit tart but the lavender gives off a soapy impression. Hmmm... once you start thinking grandma soap it's hard to dial that impression back.

A bit hazy. Yellowish-greenish. Maple sugars and fresh apples (this is aged in barrels used for maple whisky at Odd Society). Similar palate, like a maple caramel apple but finishing off-dry. Not bad.
