750mL bottle, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out tart citrus, apple core, and a hint of wild character. Flavour is full of apple core, with a touch of wild yeast. Just lots of apple core. Little complexity here. Dry, easy finish. Okay.

Poured from 473mL can. Golden with white head with a tiny bit of black sediment. Sour coffee beans with some apple. This is pretty bad.

Cloudy gold with a small white head. Burnt coffee. Burnt soured coffee with too long a finish.

473mL can, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma is full of earthy roast, with some cocoa nibs, and subdued cider notes. Flavour is harsh with lots of clashing notes, with roasted coffee beans, a little cocoa, and some gently acidic apples. Very strange blend of roast and acidic apples. It's a fun blend, but doesn't work exactly well.

Okay clear gold body with very modest foam. The aroma is very soft apple with some rather strong root beer tones, fresh at least but certainly drowning out the apple. Flavour is crisp apple but muddied by the root beer elements, not really working well together. They sort of meld after a few minutes but I can't say anything here is working exceptionally well together.

On tap @ Bells and Whistles. Pours a dusty straw color. Aromas of funky sour apple sauce. Flavours of apple skins, grainy apples and fruity Brett. Nice

On tap at BierCraft Commercial, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma is full of spices, full of peppercorns especially. Flavour is full of gently acidic apples, some apple skin, and a melange of spices. Comes together decently enough, with the spices not too harshly dominant. Not an elegant cider, but drinkable despite the off-putting nose.

Perfumy stone fruit and candy. Clear pale gold with a small white head. A bit harsh and candy like. Not at all as expected.

Bottle from Granma’s Liquor, Gibsons. Pale, no head, mellow eating apple aroma. Tart, off-dry and fairly tannic. Really I’m not getting much Juniper character at all.
