Apple and some light herbs and sarsaparilla. Clear gold with a small white head. Tart and dry but no real root beer.

Draught at Dageraad, Burnaby
Hazy blond colour. It's supposed to be with peppers, but I get apple and tequila aroma. Dry but not weak, moderate acidity, mild cider flavour, with some apple juice, some tequila, lemon peel, and light salt.
Nice cocktail.

On tap at Dageraad, pours a clear yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out crisp green apples, with plenty of skin, and maybe a hint of salt. Flavour is punchy, with plenty of salt, gentle lacto, crisp apple skins, and barely a trace of the peppers. Bright, spritzy and salty finish. Solid oddity of a cider.

On tap in Burnaby. The aroma is wet sweet apple, has a soft yellow body with tiny foam on top. Flavour is okay cream notes, mostly apple and I can't really pick out any trace of peaches. Mouthfeel is crisp and full at least. It's not bad but could be much better.

Pale with a dull haze. No head of course. Bright apple, sweet and candyish fruit - apple and orange. The vanila is random and pointless, however.

Draught at Darby's Gastown, Vancouver
Hazy blond colour. Aroma of cake, mild. The mouthfeel is off-dry, soft, with some vanilla cake feeling.
The hit a good blend of adjuncts.

On tap at the cidery. Aroma is good earthy raspberry, surprisingly not too sweet. Has a deep clear red body. Flavour is good bright raspberry with tartness and not too much sugar. Mouthfeel is surprisingly dry for such a sweet cider. Overall it works well.

On tap at the cidery. Aroma is soft hops. Has nice foam and a deeper clear gold body. Flavour is good hoppiness and the apple works well with it. Sweet mouthfeel, good balance with the oiliness. It's a decent hopped cider.

Aroma is nice smooth apple, has a good deep gold foam that goes away quick on top of a yellow body. Flavour is nice mellow dry apple, very good, though simple. Perfect dry finish. This is a very nice cider, traditional and well balanced.

Bottle bought at the cidery, opened at home, because apparently according to liquor laws that's better than drinking it at their beautiful farm. It pours with a murky pink hue and very fast dissipating foam, strong carbonation. The aroma is all fruit skins, tannins, and fresh sweetness but nothing artificial. The flavour is some very nice crushed fruit that shines through with a rather dry finish. Good mouthfeel. This one is okay, a nice mix of things that is still down to earth and real in the cider world, something often lacking in these parts.
