Bottle procured ever so gently at the brewer way out there in western Sechelt. Very modest head even when poured aggressively, okay yellow, lots of carbonation. Sweet pear on the nose, slightly sugary, unrefined. Flavour is mellow pear, not too sweet, not very earthy. Simple yet drinkable, no complexity but not overbearing like most perries on this side of the ocean. Okay, a good option if you do like perries and can't find any from the old world.

Bottle bought from the cidery way out there in Sechelt. Pours with decent white foam and strongly carbonated yellow liquid. The aroma is floral and semi-sweet apple, not overbearing but definitely sugary., fruit skin, tannins. Flavour is a very light and dry apple, bright even, lifting. Good mouthfeel and very crisp. A little more earthiness would make this amazing, but right now it's still darn good.

On tap at Brewhall, pours a deep dark ruby pink with a small head. Aroma brings out fruity berries upfront, accentuated by a bit of lavender. Flavour is very fruity and floral, with tons of dark berries, with pith, and lavender notes. Floral and quite a deep flavour. Not exactly complex, but it's certainly pleasant.

On tap at Dageraad, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Nose is somewhat vinous, with some dry white wine character, crisp apple skins, and some alcohol showing. Flavour follows through, bringing out a surprising complexity of flavours. There is the aforementioned white wine, some tannins, dry apple skins, and a light tang. Complex and wonderfully balanced. I can't believe how good this is. Excellent.

Draught at Storm Crow, Broadway, Vancouver
Red colour. Mild residual sweetness; the berries come through as candy, hence artificial; light acidity; as expected, there is no cider character.
To me, this is nothing better than an alcopop (coolers).
