Tap at the brewery, nitro version. Great beige foam and dark brown body, smells seriously of the best root beer (and reminds me that there's an A&W down the street from the brewery...). The flavour is a perfect melding of sweet stout and sugary root beer; I didn't think it could be done but here it is. Soft coffee and barley notes along with a nice smooth nitro mouthfeel. The mix may be a bit bizarre to traditionalists but this gets it right. Kudos to Taylight for something so sublime.

On tap at the brewery. Nice milky yellow body with okay foam, good sour fruit on the nose. Flavour is big sour fruitiness, peach skins and a very crisp finish. Medium gold body and barely any foam. Weird wheat paper aroma that doesn't jive for a pils. Flavour is an odd cloying orange grain that makes no sense. Dry finish at least. This stuff is all over the place... and I didn't even pour it down my shirt.

Very faint light yellow body with only a little foam. Soft hops aroma, nothing else. Flavour is heavy alcoholic lager with boozy hops on the back end. Weird for only 4.5% maybe some people dig it. Seems incongruous.

Nice light gold body, okay foam. Soft smell of grains but very faint. Flavour is rotten grains and dark bread. Finish attempts to be crisp but doesn't really get it right. Marginal but drinkable.

Cask at the brewery. Very yellow head with only vague white speckles on top. Aroma is crisp lager and mellow lime, ginger is subdued. Flavour is a lot of lime with a back kick of lager and a bit of ginger. Crisp finish but odd aftertaste. Not bad in fact but the aftertaste is kind of a buzzkill.

Cloudy pale blond colour. Nice aroma, lactic acid with a touch of citrus fruits. Dry mouthfeel, moderately sour, moderate lactic acidity, and some lemon zest.

Can - Light green fresh hop. Pale clear gold with a decent white head. Light vegetal and fresh hop notes. Very subtle, but this year all fresh hops were.

Can - Trpical notes, citrus and tons of lychee. Cloudy gold with almost no head. Soured citrus and nicetropical notes. Quite solid.

On tap at Taylight, pours a cloudy milky yellow with a small white head. Aroma is very yeasty and chalky, with plenty of earthy yeasty soup, some citrus hops and lots of pulp. Flavour is bitter and yeasty, with lots of yeast soup, earthy hops and astringent bitterness. Pretty much everything I dislike about hazy IPAs - appalling yeastiness and bitterness, with little character beyond. Not a fan.
