On tap at brewery. Pours pale and clear. Aroma undetectable. Flavour only slightly different than sparkling water. A very faint toasted rice and light grainy malt detectable. Tastes like sake for people who don't like drinking.

Hazy and pale, medium head. Slight greyish tinge. Some juicy tropical hops, moderate bitterness. An orangey hop burst in the finish.

Dark brown, medium head. Fairly chocolatey on the nose, good malt complexity and some leafy hops accents. Fairly dry, good bitterness, roasty finish. I'd definitely prefer more malt sweetness for balance, but the austere malts and leafy, slightly piney hops works well enough.

On tap at East Van, pours black with a small tan head. Nose is robust, with lots of roasted malt and plenty of wood hops. Flavour is robust and balanced, with tons of roasted malt, aggressive woody hops, and gentle earthiness. Surprisingly bold and well-balanced. Apparently they can brew if they try (or fluke out and get lucky?).

On tap at East Van, pours a clear ruby red with a tiny beige head. Nose has some butyric, subtle cherry cough drop, and subtle vinous oak. Flavour is not much better, with some notes that seem lime butyric, cherry cough drop, some oak, and tart vinegary notes. Just totally incompetent. I guess I applaud the effort but this is hardly drinkable.

On nitro tap at East Van, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small, creamy tan head. Aroma is subtle, with plenty of cinnamon upfront and little else. Flavour is spicy and dry, with somewhat aggressive cinnamon spice and little else. Useless style that's really not characterized by anything, so this is just a function of cinnamon and nitro. Pointless.

On tap at East Van, pours a cloudy bright amber orange with a small off-white head. Aroma defeats plenty of both the cranberry and kiwi, with gentle yogurt. Flavour is rather muted, with very subtle fruit, plenty of yogurty and muddled bready notes. Pretty useless but it's dry and inoffensive.
