Poured from the tap. Clear red with minimal white head. Feint oak notes, mild cherry, meh.

Foamy white head and clear pale body. Bright and fruity aroma. Flavour was melony and slightly dank. Very nice balance of fruity and hoppy flavours. Overall very refreshing and enjoyable; would drink again.

Light tan head that fades quickly. Body dark brown, quite opaque. Fairly uninteresting; tastes like most other nitro dark beer in Vancouver. Probably better than the other dark options at East Van. If the attempt was to emulate the flavour of Vietnamese coffee, the attempt was unfortunately unsuccessful.

On tap at East Van, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is quite laid back, with gentle spicy hops and a dry, semi-sweaty biscuity malt base. Flavour is lightly tangy, featuring very muted tangerine notes, muted earthy hops, and a dry biscuity malt base. Muddled and incompetent. What the hell is this shit?

On nitro tap at East Van, pours a mahogany-tinged dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is very laid back on the coffee, with toasted malt and some crusty bready. Flavour is flat and dry, with dull toasted malt and some gentle earthiness. I don't detect the coffee at all. Dull and lifeless dark lager.

On tap at East Van, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma reveals a tangy, melony hop character, with some dankness and light sweaty hops. Flavour is much brighter and NZ hop-forward, with tons of tangy hops, some gentle green melon, and a touch of dankness. Pretty nicely hopped, well-structured, and eminently drinkable. Surprisingly good.

On tap at East Van, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Nose is very faint, with notes of straw and very light toasted grains. Flavour is much the same: barely anything to speak of other than straw and light, dry graininess. Clean but unexciting.

Weak foam on a hazy lighter gold body. Okay banana on the nose, though a little wet and weak. Taste is modest banana, slight sweet grain. Ends smooth with okay carbonation. Textbook hefe and nothing more.

Draught at East Van, Vancouver
Very pale yellow colour, cloudy. It's very weak, it has light vegetable elements, but also hop is vegetable, so… it tastes like a tea of paper scraps, it's mineral, no matcha, and barely any bitterness.
Useless.

Growler from the brewery
Hazy dark blond colour, compact head. Mild resinous aroma. Lean body, it's off dry; the malt and bitterness seem off, even slightly sour, with vegetable accents.
Not impressed by this one.
