Can - Biscuit and light green hops. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Bitterness and some creamy biscuit. More English style with not real citrus or fruity notes although they say there is lots of citra.

Can - Green leafy and aromatic berry notes. Deep purple with a small white head. Berry fruit, jammy and some green notes. Not particularly sour although a touch of acidity. Reasonably well executed, but a sour bit of some sort would have been nice.

On tap at Mariner, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out a decent mix of coffee, cocoa and vanilla, with a sturdy roasted malt base. Flavour is dominated by the vanilla upfront, with subdued mocha and very light. The vanilla is too prominent and dominating, tasting rather artificial and sweet. Not a good variant of the base beer.

On tap at Mariner, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hop oils, some sweetness from either the oils or malt, and biscuity malt. Flavour is fairly oily and sweet, with resinous hop oils, cloying sweetness and biscuity malt. Unbalanced and lacking cohesion. Not a NE IPA in any way. No good at all.

On tap at Mariner, pours a clear golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is subdued, with light lacto, some citrus and wheaty malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with lacto, citrus and wheat. Very, very restrained. Has that seltzery character that their other beers have. Needs more oomph.

On tap at Mariner, pours a clear amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is very subdued, with light biscuity malt, a touch of hops and a hint of caramel. Flavour is very dry and crisp, with a crackery malt character characterizing this. Very seltzer-like and lacking any real depth. Needs some work.
