16oz (thx, Alex!)@ home. Appearance: almost black with a beige head. Aroma: roasted malts, fruity, inky. Taste: along the same lines, a bit ashy, moderately sweet, moderate body. Finishes with hoppy and roasted malt bitterness. Overall: pretty good one, but I believe it does lack body a bit.

Cloudy yellow body and no foam to speak of. Weak hops on the nose, slight melon notes, vague lemon zest. Taste is really vague hops, slight melon and pine, ending watery with no character. So weak and boring - who at Four Winds signed off on this?

Deep dark brown body and minimal foam. It's hard to get the aroma right with all the drunk women in Christmas hats eating popcorn beside me but I'll try - Sweet molasses on the nose with hints of cocoa. Taste is wet cocoa, slight molasses, ending way too wet. Popcorn and spinsters in Christmas hats beside me notwithstanding, this is well brewed but far too simple.

Hazy deep yellow body and way too minimal foam. Good tart hops on the nose, slight tangerine sourness. Taste is a chewy meaty hoppiness, oily melon and pine, but ending too narrow and wet. Good elements, but there are better ways to do this kind of beer.

Weak hazy yellow body and no foam to speak of. Soft lemon aroma with slight hops, a little tart and piney. Taste is all lemon soda, grain maybe, ending quite wet. Vague tartness maybe, but still more soda than beer.

472 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with full tan head. Aromas of sweet chocolate, creamy coffee and slick roasted malts. Flavors of creamy chocolate, sweet vanilla, and oily roasted malts. Bitter chocolate finish with a bit of lactose. Very nice

Blond colour, cloudy to murky.Aroma of citrus fruit. Good body strength; the malt base is not chalky; it has strong hopping, mostly a medley of citrus fruits, and related citrus peel bitterness.
Bold. Very good.

Dark sugars galore, with a touch of coffee, wood and vanilla. I'm surprised it's been only 2 years; anyway, even with a few moons under the belt, this is still excellent.

Pitch black colour, large and compact brown head. Aroma of roasted malts and dark chocolate, mild but elegant. It's smooth, full bodied, moderately sweet, harmony of roasted malts and dark chocolate, with a pinch of ashes in the finish, and warming liquor.
I have to take my pastry imperial stout glasses, and appreciate this perfectly balanced straight Imperial Stout, excellent.

Cloudy blond colour. It's a bit less citrusy and more dank than Field 2; it's off dry, moderately astringent, with correct bitterness. Good, a bit dirty.
