On tap at The Bakery, pours a clear bright golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out plenty of rustic saison yeast, wild critters, and nicely textured oaky rum. Flavour is certainly unique, with notes of vanilla, lots of oak, perfectly calibrated boozy rum presence, followed by rustic saison yeast and tons of bugs. Finishes rustic and buggy, accentuated surprisingly beautifully by the rum and oak character. Maybe a bit hot, but I'm a fan of all these flavours and the cohesion. Excellent.

Deep black body and modest foam. Soft sweet barley on the nose, no hint of habanero. Taste is nice sweet coffee, dark chocolate, ending smooth but durned if there's habanero in this. It's basically false advertising, my tongue isn't burning at all.

Cloudy ruby brown body and mediocre foam. It kind of smells like soap, so if you like a beer in the shower this could be it. Taste is good fruity malt, soft caramel, ending smooth. Fresh hop not really and the maltiness is just okay; halfway there.

Kind of a rosé body and very modest foam. Soft faint lemonade on the nose, slightly sweet. Taste is a very tart pink lemonade, ending watery and a little too sweet. Carbonation lacking, no complexity, this could be so much better.

Hazy light brown body and modest foam. Nice hoppy styrofoam on the nose, citrus sweetness, sugary coffee. Taste is plenty of sweet coffee, chewy cocoa, lingering nutmeg. Fun and interesting and actually working pretty well.

Deep blackish brown body and modest foam. Soft tart motor oil on the nose, slightly sweet. Taste is good licorice, slight motor oil, dry coffee finish. Alcohol well hidden, not a bad impy and delivering well enough.

Pours with weak yellow body and modest foam. Smells of odd herbal notes on hops, not quite working. Taste is odd floral notes soft grain, ending too watery. It's clean but kind of a failed experiment.

Clear light gold body and modest foam. Soft lemon zest and hop aroma, sweet and tart. Taste is vanilla grain with soft citrus hints, ending smooth but with a bad bitter aftertaste. This one needs some work.

On tap at The Bakery, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is not very prominent on the barrels — there's medium roasted malt and a touch of bourbon. Flavour is fairly laid back for the style, with roasted malt, a hint of bourbon, not really any vinous character, and some earthiness. I wish the bourbon was further upfront; it's smooth and drinkable enough but not particularly interesting.
