Chocolate and toast. Deep jet brown with a small white head. Weird grains and not sour but just off. Not pleasant.

On tap at Parkside, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out rich oats, medium roast, a touch of coffee, and a tinier touch of cocoa. Flavour is robust, with a nice hearty oatmeal character, followed by equal parts coffee and chocolate. Nicely rounded and highly drinkable. Really good example of an oatmeal stout.

On tap at the brewery. Aroma is good coffee and baker's chocolate, has good black body and decent foam. Flavour is nice sweet barley and dry chocolate notes. Mouthfeel is good and crisp. This is a fine oatmeal stout.

Okay clear yellow and some soft foam. Very soft rotten cabbage aroma with hints of dirty armpit. Flavour is lemon juice dumped on top of said dirty armpit. Everything else about this is bad. Big miss here.

Okay coffee aroma, dark black body and a hint of foam. Flavour is heavy boozy licorice and cherrt with some coffee hints. Kind of heavy, a little unbalanced.

Yellow gold body and minimal foam. Okay hop aroma, nothing else. Flavour is an overhopped mess, varieties of hops tripping over each other. Dry finish. Needs some skill injected.

The guy sitting across from me says it looks like pee from someone with a urinary tract infection - rather milky yellow. Smells like the BO of the guy on the bus I took to get here. Flavour is lemony with a bit of a crisp soda finish. Drinkable but messy.
