On tap at Faculty, pours a hazy pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out crackery malt, bready notes and a hint of herbal notes - no grassiness that one would hope for in a pils. Flavour follows suit, with herbal notes, crackery malt and dry biscuity notes. Dry, clean-ish, with a herbal finish. Bland and uninteresting, as usual.

Amber with slight haze, and thin head. Lots of woody, grapefruit hop on the nose...not picking up the earl grey. Bitter, moderate crystal malt, woody hop, and all that is in balance. Again no earl grey unless I talk myself into thinking it’s more tannic than usual. So really just a decent mid-aughts IPA.

Cloudy blonde with a thin head. On the nose, tart, light rhubarb. The rhubarb is quite pronounced on the palate. Moderate lactic tartness, touch of yeast. There’s just a little something with the base beer, not sure what, but it’s one of those things you only notice when you’re analyzing the beer.

Murky orange color. The aroma is uninteresting, light lemon, light cheese. Pleasant acidity, the rhubarb seems to add a punch, the pear is not evident.
Refreshing.

Dark brown. Thin head. Nice chocolatey nose, bit fudgey. Medium body, just enough carbo. The hop lends a leafy accent, and moderate bitterness. Enjoyable, that hop is just enough nuance.
