5/10 β€” Appearance 6 Aroma 5 Flavor 5 Texture 4 Overall 5
Draught at the brewery
Brown color, small beige head. Some dark malts, cardboard, but rather poor, and way too weak, with traces of yeast.
Weird, the Mild tastes like a watered Brown, while their Scottish is a Mild…
This one is not interesting.

Dark amber color, compact nitro head. The aroma and flavor are muffled by the nitro, but behind there is a decent Mild Ale, fresh, refreshing, with delicate bready and malty notes, a bit weak in the final though.
Pleasant.

Dark brown color, near black. Aroma of roasted malt, light manure. Dark caramel flavor, with hints of dark chocolate; the flavor too is a bit earthy; roasted nuts; robust bitterness.
Not a typical Black IPA, maybe too much caramel. But it’s pleasant to me, not too roasty.

The color is near black, with light brown creamy head. Aroma of wet cardboard. Dry mouthfeel, smooth; it has a good blend of dark chocolate and dark roasted coffee, a bit ashy in the final, with moderate acidity from the dark malts.
Nice.

Pale blond color, clean. The aroma is a bit cheesy, but it has a nice delicate flavor of bready malts, and correct bitterness, apparently beyond the declared 16 IBUs, very light fruity esters.
Uncomplicated but clean, suitable for the unpretentious drinker.

Hazy greenish blond color with compact head. The yeast provides a nice spicy character to the aroma and flavor, blending with crackery malts, and finishing with a correct degree of bitterness; it’s rather dry and not muddy or overly yeasty, and it has a light fruity esters touch, and light manure aroma.
Robust Hefeweizen, very well done.

On tap at Lighthouse Pub. Golden-amber. Has a nice citrusy hop nose, but something wonky underneath. Moderate bitterness. A bit light on the malts, body thin. More clumsy than faulty.

Light amber. Thin head. Has a phenolic, solventy taste....cleaner? Thin, bland, woefully underhopped.

This is thin, watery, no real flavour. Light amber. A lot of off-flavours. Yeast is a big problem here. Not sure why you would serve this to people.

Draught at Lighthouse Pub. Straw colour. Light continental hop aroma. Not as much hop on the palate...sweet, cereal taste.
