Nice cloudy bright yellow body and a bit of foam. Nice hoppy sweet dough on the nose. Flavour is good wheat character with sharp hop notes on the finish. Just a slight bit watery on the mouthfeel. Otherwise a very decent hefeweizen.

Good cloudy yellow body and minimal foam. Soft hops on the nose. Literally - had to stick my nose in there to smell something. Flavour is sweet floral hops. Mouthfeel is on the oily side. A nice ipa but no malt character.

Has good grain notes on the nose. Looks like nice orangey gold body and a little head. Flavour is good chewy grains and a sharp finish. Very dry mouthfeel, nice. It's a good local lager.

Lighter clear gold body and just a bit of head. Very little aroma. Flavour is light floral pilsner hops with a dry finish. Serviceable though unexciting.

On tap at the brewery. Nice golden body and a little bit of foam on top. Soft fruity hops on the nose. Flavour is floral oily hops and a medium oily finish. Okay but simple.

Draught at Parkside, Port Moody
Cloudy blond colour, creamy head. It's a fairly dry and yeasty example, more spicy than anything else, no fruity esters, passable even in Germany.

Amber, bright. This has a lot of cinnamon, ginger, sweet malts. Sticky and old school take on the spiced holiday ale. Probably more fun to make than to drink

Uh, one of the least creative beer names ever. Lazy. Dark amber. Medium head. Very chewy aroma. Same taste, chewy and earthy. Light C hop note and mellow esters. So 90s. But this is an amber ale by style, defined by dominant malt, and if billed as such instead of a pale I’d be more receptive, I think.

Draught at Darby's Kitsilano, Vancouver
Hazy to cloudy blond colour. Dry and smooth, with very good malt qualities, more evident in the flavour, crackery, crisp; it has a moderate level of bitterness with citrus resin hops.
Very good.

Draft - Mango and citrus. Clearish pale gold with a decent white head. Bitter up front with citrus notes. Bitterness overwhelmed but still decent.
