The hops are a bit spicy, but there's also butter. Nice pale malts, but needs to be cleaner.

On tap at 12 Kings, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out lots of roasted nuts, with gentle cocoa, and some earthy notes. Flavour is robust, with lots of roasted nuts, a hint of burnt dark fruits, and a tiny hint of tartness. Robust and well-constructed. Finally something good from these guys.

Hazy gold, white head. Light spicy hop nose and palate. Decent but a bit on the sweet side

On tap at 12 Kings, pours an opaque cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out a musty strawberry character, with salt, and mineraly notes. Flavour is offensive, with rotting strawberries, a little garbage juice, and light lacto. One of the worst local beers I've had in some time, and that is saying something. This is pure trash.

On tap at Wildeye, pours a cloud orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of lacto upfront, with a touch of floral notes. Flavour brings out salt, mineral water and lacto. This is truly repulsive - salty mineraly water. Ugh.

On tap at Wildeye, pours a cloudy bright orange with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with lacto, with a touch of grapefruit. Flavour is loaded with yogurty lacto, with little else discernible. Lacto bomb. Meh.

On tap at Wildeye, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out citrus hops and biscuity malt. Flavour brings out bright citrus and piney hops, with a very bitter finish. Very bitter and astringent. It's okay.

On tap at Wildeye, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is pretty subdued, with light grass and crackery notes. Flavour is pretty herbal and tragically under-hopped, with some grass and biscuity notes. Underwhelming. Pretty lame.

On tap at Wildeye, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out light piney hops and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with crisp piney hops, and crisp biscuity malt. Not very deep even for the style, but it's alright.

On tap at Wildeye, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out straw and cereal grains. Flavour is quite grainy, with cereal notes and straw. Clean but inauthentic. Meh.
