Draught at the brewery
Cloudy blond colour. The yeast character is pervasive, veey estery, loads of coriander and a trace of clove; at least the flavour is crisp and the bitterness is robust.
American interpretation, not truly Belgian, but decent beer.

On tap. Aroma is of sugary peach and brown sugar. Has good foam on top of a clear copper body. Flavour is cloying heavy alcohol and sugar. Soft on the mouth. Just okay.

On tap during the North Shore Craft Beer Week awhile back. Has a good bright floral beeswax aroma. Good foam on top of cloudy yellow body. Flavour is nice hops and citrus. Great balance, a very nice IPA.

Can - Nice grains. Clear gold with a decent white head. Bitter, grainy and a long finish. Bitterness is a bit extreme for the style, but flavor is en point.

Tasting at Oakes' Manor, can
Hazy blond colour. The aroma is a bit dank. Strong body, some fusels, resiny hops, some vegetables.
Modern, but not very good.

Can - Onion and green notes. Clear gold with a small white head. Meaty and sausage notes with cabbage. Not good.

Just a slight haze, thin head. Light amber colour. On the nose, a fair bit of cabbagey sulphur. Definitely not so much hop on the nose. Moderate bitterness, and more cabbage, and the malt character is just sort of there, slight caramel.

Can - Earthy and caramel notes. Clearish orange with a small white head. Light malts and a touch of spicy hops. English style at best.

Tasting at Oakes' Manor, can
Amber colour, hazy. Aroma and flavour are loaded with vegetables: celery, tomato; the base is rather old style.
Not good at all.
