Description
Here in Summerland, we're passionate about cider. Our focus is on quality and we believe we have achieved something pretty close to perfection. What sets us apart is that our all-juice cider is made using European cider apple varieties that we grow ourselves in our orchards. Though not very good for eating, these apples contain a surprising amount of tannins. This is what gives our cider not only its beautiful golden colour, but when fermented, results in a richly flavoured, surprisingly complex drink.

Very pale. A decent apple tannin nose. Sweetish, hints of apple and some juicy tartness.

Golden. Dry, has a nice apple character. Ok, tannic in the finish, a decent dry cider.

Bottle. Pale yellow, low carbonation. Musty nutty apple skin aroma. Medium light sparkly, creamy mouthfeel. Apple, light vanilla, a hint clove. Nice.

Hazy deep blond color with a small foam collar. Very nice apple aroma, some apple peel, fruity, sweet and mature. The mouthfeel is just off-dry; delicate apple flavor, mild acidity, lightly lemony, and some late tannins.
Actually pretty good, balanced, with a decent degree of complexity.

75cl Bottle from Legacy. Straw-yellow, tart, appley, the complexity lies in the malolactic but otherwise this ends up as a simple, halfway refreshing tart cider. Good cider.
