Brown bottle, 500 ml, from, with and at Jean-Frédéric Pleau (merci!), savoured on July 2, 2022; eye: coppery, semi-hazy, no effervescence, ring of beige head, slight lacing; nose: malt, light buttery, hops; mouth: malt, light buttery, hops, mild astringency, semi-dry finale in hops with buttery presence, medium body, average carbonation, mildly bitter, lightly sweet, slick texture; in summary: fair FRANÇAIS
Bouteille brune, 500 ml, de, avec et chez Jean-Frédéric Pleau (merci!), savourée le 2 juillet 2022; œil : cuivrée, semi-voilée, pas d'effervescence, anneau de mousse beige, très légère dentelle; nez : malt, léger beurré, houblon; bouche : malt, léger beurré, houblon, astringence moyenne, finale semi-sèche en houblon avec présence beurrée, corps moyen, carbonatation moyenne, moyennement amère, légèrement sucrée, texture coulante; en résumé : correct

This roggen poured a beautiful reddish amber with a light, tan coloured head. Medium lacing. Scents include dough, candy, a little paint thinner and sweet malt. First swig was different. Flavours of heavy malt, nuts, earth and a little dough. Finish is very toasty malt with nut flavour lingering.

This pale poured a cloudy, light yellow colour with a big, bright white head. Med lacing. Scents include citrus/grassy hops, a little cooked veggies and spices. First swig was quite carbonated. A little thin on the palate with flavours of citrus and malt. Finish is medium bitter with strong hop flavours lingering.

This sour poured a hazy medium yellow colour with a creamy, white head. Nice lacing. Scents include orange, grapefruit...etc citrus hops, a little grass and candy. First swig was quite tart at first with grapefruit/candy flavours coming up. A little grain. Finish is tart and closely related to Wink!

This IPA poured a hazy, light yellow colour with a creamy, white head. Medium lacing. Scents include citrus, flowers and honey. First swig was delicious. Flavours of flower hops, a little honey and grains. Finish is medium hoppy/bitter with flowered hop flavour lingering.

This stout poured a deep black colour with a deep brown, creamy head. Nice lacing. Scents include strong coffee, molasses and a tiny bit of hops. First swig was strong in the coffee dept. other flavours of caramel, a little cherries,cocoa and a hint of ripe fruit in the finish. Palate is pure coffee with the slightest sweet.

Dark chocolate and coffee. Jet brown black with a decent brown head. Dark roast and some coffee.
