Tap at Smith Street. Poured a slightly hazy copper colour with a big frothy white head. The aroma is citrus, light resin hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth citrus, woody, light spicy floral metallic hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Draft at Smith Street. Poured a hazy straw colour with little life. The aroma is spicy cinnamon coriander, light fruit. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth rich light apple, spicy palate. Medium bodied with flat carbonation. It’s safe to say that I hate cider. I don’t go anywhere near the battery acid normally, however, this was gorgeous. It was sweet, but not too sweet and the lovely spices in the aroma and the palate plus the mellow fruit really made this for me. Without doubt the best cider I ever had. It’s no wonder that buying beer at On Tap is a waiting game these days.
