Pours hazy Golden with a thin white head. Light aroma. Taste is sour, slightly fruity. Palate includes pineapple and citrus sour notes. Reminiscent of a Berliner Weiss.

Pours hazy golden with a thin white head. Aroma of banana, cloves and cinnamon. Intense taste of nutmeg and cloves. Light mouthfeel. Palate is dominated by cloves, dark woody taste on the back of the tongue. Good hefe.

12oz bottle pours a clear gold with some white head. Nose has lime and salt but... not much else. Flavor is lime and lemonade powder. Tart finish. One dimensional.

32oz crowler pour is an opaque black with khaki head. Nose is very cool, chocolate and coffee and maple, licorice, malt, a little rootbeer candy. Flavor is sweet but not overly so, tootsie rolls, maple, chocolate, rootbeer. Finishes sticky with plenty of maple but damn, so so smooth.

12oz bottle at the early December Ratebeer DC Tasting. Poured a slightly hazy, light yellow color with a small off-white head. Aroma was light lime zest, citrus. Vanilla and Key Lime. Light graham cracker. Tasty.

Crowler at the early December Ratebeer DC Tasting. Poured a nearly pitch black color with a small tan head. Aroma was roasted malts, an immediate blast of coffee and maple. Flavor was the same, with some vanilla woody notes. Lots of roast, coffee, maple syrup.

Sweet and dark cherry notes. Jet black with a decent light brown. Sweet cherry and dark chocolate with a long finish.
