Can. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, orange, biscuity malt and pineapple. Taste has bitter citrus, orange, grapefruit, piney grassy hop and some malt. Nice hoppy bitter apa.

On tap at Bryggjan, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out herbal hops, biscuity malt and a hint of fruitiness. Flavour is bright, with piney hops, biting citrus, and biscuity malt. Citric and astringently bitter, but decent.

Keg at the brewery. It pours black with a small tan head. The aroma is sweet, oily, rich roasted malt, charred wood, cacao, liquorice and a bit of spice. The taste is firmly dry, plenty of bitterness, rich roasted malt, oily, liquorice, charred pine, orange peel, peppery spice, tannin, plenty of umami, coffee grounds and boozy warmth with a lingering bitter, kind of burnt finish. Medium+ body and moderate carbonation. Intense stuff, maybe overly so. Fun, but has a bit of a burnt note about it.

Keg at the brewery. It pours dark brown with a small beige head. The aroma is earthy, toothy, chocolate cake, toasty malts and some sweet vanilla. The taste is dry, toasty grain, brown bread, cacao, toothy, bit of liquorice, light alcohol, touch of spice and earth with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Easy going and smooth. Hides the abv pretty well.

An almost soured chocolate note. Jet black amber with a good light brown head. Dark and a bit sweet with a long finish. None of the expected notes from anything described.
