473ml can. Pours a clear pale gold-yellow with a small, foamy, short lived, off-white head that laces. Aroma of grainy pale malt, lavender and lemon peel. Sweet flavour of grainy pale malt, lemon peel, lavender and lime in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Not bad, but the lavender is a bit too strong, giving it a soapy taste.

Can, courtesy of Myles
Orange-blond, murky. It's mildly fruity, with minimal acidity, and the base is a sludgy, creamy, hazy pale ale, not too dry at least, but all together is a bit clumsy. Low bitterness.

Poured from 473mL can (bb Nov 06, 2023). Near black with nice beige head. Roast malt, feint hint of smoke, some okay hopping. Decent overall.

473ml can. Pours an opaque black with a small, creamy, short lived, brown head that laces. Sweet aroma of lightly roasted malt, chocolate and a hint of mint. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla, caramel, oats and coffee in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with a sticky, oily texture and soft carbonation. Tasty and enjoyable. A great dessert beer.

Has medium cloudy copper body and okay foam. Aroma is chewy hops and malts, very piney. Taste is good smooth hops, slight pine, some malt, ends very smooth with okay oiliness. Rather subdued but clean and easy drinking.

Has okay milky pink body and little foam. Aroma is nice raspberry and lemon, very shandyish. Tastes of good mellow raspberry and tart lemon backed up by just enough sour grain. Ends full, smooth, good carbonation. It's refreshing and cooleresque, working well in that fashion.

Poured with very nice dark black body but little foam. Smells of great coffee, some molasses. Taste is nice cocoa, coffee, sweet biscuit. There's okay carbonation but it's too thin. Still not bad, drinkable.

Dark brown. Thin head. Quite toasty, lots of roast, almost smoky. Kiss of sweet malt. Not bad. Decent bitterness, and while it lacks the bright hop expression I prefer I’m liking what it does have, as the malts are sufficiently complex.

Bright copper. Thin head. Not a lot on the nose but big sweet malt, juicy, lightly fruity, floral hops. Solid pale.
