473mL can. Pours clear pale gold with a white head. Dry pine, resin, melon, and some dank notes on the nose. Flavour has pine, resins, melon, nectarines. Sweet pale malts. Hop expression is pretty timid, might be a bit older than it needs to be. Pretty solid, but would have been better fresher.

0.473 l can shared with Ogi and Marko, thanks. Unclear copper to ruby red with a lilac hue. Minimal tan head. Aroma is vinous at first, red fruit, raspberry, hints of tobacco, grape skins and nice oaky wood notes balancing it out. Very soft touch of vanilla and caramel. Rich and fragrant. Smooth, light body, soft to moderate, intense mineral wood flavour, vanilla, some smoke, tobacco and hay slightly out of balance with a subdued fruity flavour, red fruit, vinous. Too thin, lacking complexity, not well balanced, not too harsh, finishes dry, moderately tart, with a hint of astringency. Interesting but not very well done.

Can from Ambasada that Ogi shared with Hrabren and me - for my unique rate no. 23000!!! And I mean... if the brewers aren't somehow aware of Oliver Dragojević, the odds they would nail a name as perfect as this are... wow. Anyway. No head, hazy ruby-amber body, the vagues traces of something headish along the edges of the glass. Sharp red wine notes in the aroma, mild mild cheese, light glue, funky 'nuff. Lean, dry wood-driven taste, tannic slightly, plenty of tart red wine notes around it, bit minerally. Feels like a slightly sub par wood aged red wine to be completely fair. It's not bad, it's a good beer, it's just not enticing and its profille lands it into a competition it cannot win against, well, actual wood aged red wines. Solid. And, again, the name is beyond fantastic.

Slight haze, dull amber. Weedy, with linalool and limonene on that, pine and orange. Bitter, with a solid biscuity malt character, well-balanced. This is bright, balanced, and very good.

16 oz. can, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Nose is full of dank hops, pine, pungent resinous hop oils, and just enough biscuity malt to back. Flavour follows accordingly, with intense dank hops, loads of pine, resinous hop oils, and just touch of biscuity malt. Dank, oily palate, with fantastic hop expression.

Tap at Imazato. Very pale pastel yellow, almost white looking. Subtle nose of tropical fruits, grapefruit, and some spice. Clean and fresh, not overly sweet, with a spicy and somewhat dry finish. Not bursting with juiciness, but more restrained.

Bright gold, medium head. Clean malt, good hop note, too. Don't mind the haters, tangier.

On tap at Elizabeth Station, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma has gentle piney hops, doughy malt, fresh bread, allium, and some citrusy tang. Flavour bursts with tropical melon, citrusy hops, some hop tang, and a touch of allium. Good mix of hops, well-balanced, finishing crisp and bitter. Very good.

16 oz. can, pours a deep dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma has plenty of bourbon barrel, tons of toffee, brown sugar, and caramel—not much hops, maybe some toasted nuts. Flavour is very sweet, into cloying territory, with intense caramel, brown sugar, butterscotch, and some molasses. There’s some barrel here but it’s buried. Too sweet, which conceals some complexity. Good complexity but difficult to drink in more than a couple ounces. Needs tweaking.
