On tap at Menace, pours black with a reddish tinge and a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted malt, oats, a hint of espresso and a touch of roast. Flavour is hearty, with a nice oat-y quality, light-medium sweetness, and dry roasted malt... a touch of espresso as well. Hearty and nicely balanced, with a clean body. Good stuff.

On tap at Menace, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out light piney hops and a dry biscuity malt backbone. Flavour is nice and dry, with piney hops, lightly floral dry hopping and a bone dry biscuity malt base. Nothing extraordinary but constructed very well. Solid bitterness on the finish. Very good.

On tap at Menace, pours a clear amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is pretty shy on the hops, with toasted bready caramel malt and some subdued hoppy resins. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted bready caramel malt and nice hop resins. Good balance between malt and hops, with a dry, lightly bitter finish. Nicely constructed and very clean. Good stuff.

On tap at Menace, pours a clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma is all chilis, with lots of Serrano. Flavour is likewise dominated by the Serrano, but it isn't too overpowering. Nice heat from the chile, obscuring the base beer out of detection. Nice stuff, but ultimately forgettable.

Draught at The Local, Bellingham, WA
Golden color, clean. It has a good amount of citrusy hops in the aroma and flavor, to be fair it’s also lightly buttery; but the crackery malt body is a plus.
Pleasant.

Cloudy and pale. Quite tart and light curranty fruitiness. Has a refreshing tartness with salty accent and light fruitiness for complexity.

2017 rate. Golden amber, thin head. The aroma is just a lot of canned jalapeo, the taste shows that...less vinegary...touch of serrano. Heat is balanced, again they nail the support malts. Good, balanced chile beer...just needs better chile. 4 5 7 3 14

2015 rate: Amber with a bubbly head. Aroma is pretty big jalapeo and earthy serrano, quite huge, but it’s much more balanced on the palate. No heat, really, just a nice malt/pepper earthiness and moderately bitter, woody finish. 7-4-7-4-14 = 3.6

On tap at The Local, pours a pale clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma is almost non-existent, just some faint crackery notes. Flavour matches - there's really nothing to this other than some faint crackery notes. Not sure what the point of this is. Clean but weak as hell. Not good.
