Description
There is something to be said about keeping a dream alive, and for a scrappy group of musicians, creatives and seasoned craft brewers, Sea Change Brewing Co. is that dream. All it took was decades of hustling, skill-building, and friendship cresting on a big swing in 2017 that launched the brewery. We started as a single-beer micro-brand and grew into an award-winning staple in the Alberta brewing scene thanks to our team’s engrained D.I.Y. work ethic and creative approach to branding and community collaboration. But behind it all, what remains true from the dream to the pint glass, are diverse, unpretentious beers, crafted with care, true-to-style, and most importantly, great tasting. Cheers Nerds.

473ml can. Pours a murky red-pink with a medium, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that laces. Sweet fruity aroma of bready wheat malt, raspberry, blackberry and earthy yeast. Sweet flavour of bready wheat malt, raspberry, blackberry, earthy yeast and floral hops in a dry, tart finish. Medium body with a soft, almost creamy texture and light to medium carbonation. Juicy and tasty. Well done.

On tap at Sea Change, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is quite dank, with plenty of pot-like hops, subdued pineapple, and chalky yeast. Flavour is rather chalky, with dank hops, dusty chalky notes, and no hint of the pineapple. Too chalky for me, but not egregiously so.

On tap at Sea Change, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma is crisp and gentle, with straw and biscuity malt. Flavour is crisp and clean, with straw, crisp crackery malt, and some corn. Clean and drinkable. Good stuff for what it is.

On tap at Sea Change, pours a cloudy pinkish red with a small white head. Aroma is super fruity, with lots of fresh berries and a soft wheaty base. Flavour has a lot of soft berry notes upfront, dried out by the wheat. Simple but nicely fruity. Solid.
