This pale ale poured a light cloudy yellow colour with a bright white head. Scents include citrus hops with added juniper, bread, cream and a little corn. First swig was a little thin but very nice hop flavour. Somewhat bitter with flavours of lemon citrus and grass with a little honey and flowers. Finish is bitter with hops lingering. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can dated 11/18/16, so I was a little bit cautious of this, but once I smelled and tasted, I thought, well, this smells, tastes and feels good.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a semi-hazy rustic orange color with a sly transparency about it. Some messy lacing clings around the sides of the glass nicely.
The aroma hits a big piney bitterness flowing over a juicy citrus rind. Grapefruit zest pops the top to kick up a little bit of spice.
The flavor grasps a bitter juicy rind-like clingy harsh flavor. That pine comes back to balance nicely (that’s gotta be their house yeast). Sharp bitter piney to remnants of some light juice in the aftertaste leading on into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a great sessionability about it. Carbonation felt good for what it is. Bitterness feels good and almost close to an AIPA’s harshness on my tongue.
Overall, really nice beer from a brewery that I usually don’t go after that much any more. Aw hell, if this was this old and held up like this, I can only imagine what it was like fresh.
