12 oz. bottle. From Trader Joeβs. Pours a deep, clear Amber color, thin lasting head. Aroma is mostly caramel with hints of nuts.
Flavor is simple and thin. This body is light and watered down. It is kind of like if you got a nice amber ale and let an ice cube melt in it. Caramel, maple hints, maybe nuts. Pretty weak in every aspect. Not very good at all.

16 oz. can dated 9/9/16. Aroma is real nice, tropical fruit with plenty of grass. Huge mosaic influence.
Nice pilsner malt that gives a crisp light body. Wow, plenty of mosaic hop influence with maybe a Citra or other hop thrown in there. I am really surprised that this beer is brewed under this label. Very nicely done for the style.

Can from a Lazy Dog Hazy golden orange color with a small bubbly white head. Big citrus especially orange on the nose with a faint bread underneath. Big citrus flavor with a faint butterscotch and hop bitterness. I liked the spruce beer better, this one is a bit too heavy on orange flavor with some unpleasant bitter butterscotch coming through.

Can from a Lazy Dog Lightly hazy golden color with a small quickly dissipating bubbly white head. Huge pine and resin as was expected. Light earthy citrus underneath as well as some sweet bready maltiness. The flavor is all pine and resin with a strong lingering bitterness that is barely countered by the sweet maltiness. I liked this a lot more than I though I would. Iβve had spruce beers where it felt like liking a pine tree air freshener. This one is quite well made, the spruce is subtle and melds nicely with the hops.
