Tap at Troy brewfest. Normal golden pilz coloration. Nose is fresh hops. Bright hoppy pilsener. Grassy and some grapefruit and florals. Bitter and refreshing on this warm afternoon

Not sure why but the name Peak Organic repels me so much I almost avoid beers not sure what my discomfort is since no issue with organic food and I love peaks and their beer is ok in general. Light bodied standard Oktoberfest. Orange pour small head. Crisp leaves and earth, toasted malts and some hop presence. Dry finish slight bitterness.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass. Appearance is hazy pale yellow with greenish tinge (urine-like) with nice sparkle, finger-width creamy head with nice retention, decent lacing. Aroma is strong herbs (a little like armpit) over slight floral and malty tones. Taste is mostly the herbal component of the aroma with bitter and slightly tart qualities dominating second half. Palate is medium bodied with light, frothy texture, average carbonation and dry, crisp lightly bitter finish. Overall, a decent enough appearance and palate but the herbal nature of the aroma and taste are not for me.

This 12 oz. can was sold in a 6 pack with their Crush IPA. Aroma has a decent amount of pine and spruce hints. The flavor has some bready malt as the base with the spruce and pine being the main theme throughout the sip. I actual like the a tad better the Crush that was sold with this. Bitterness had a bit more of a punch to the mouth.

12 oz. can purchased at Craft Beer Cellar (Amesbury). Can dated 7/20/16. Unclear golden, fast dying head. Aroma is orange peel, pale malt, and a hint of pine.
The flavor has a steady amount of citrus peel with the faintest note of pine in the backend. The bitterness is moderate and the texture becomes dry. I guess I should not have sampled "the Juice" from Peak right before this. This is dull in comparison to their Juice.

16 oz. can purchased at Craft Beer Cellar (Amesbury). Can dated 8/26/16. Turbid golden color, lasting white head. Aroma shows HUGE grapefruit peel, mild grassy hints, and pale malt.
Wow! In a blind taste test, I never would have guessed this was a Peak Organic brew. Good amount of hop punch. Lots of dry grapefruit peel. The pale malt keeps it light in regards to body and texture has a nice soft / airy mouthfeel. The bitterness is light to moderate and never becomes abrasive. I am impressed with this!

355ml Bottle from Burg Bieren. Hazy golden yellow colour, white head. Aroma of soft citrus, lemon, passionfruit, crisp malts. Flavour is light sweet, zesty, passionfruit, some grapefruit, lemon, light malty, grassy, bitter finish. Light bodied, light flavoured as well, quite high carbonation. Nice and refreshing.

Pours a hazy brown-amber from a can. Big pine aroma is matched in the flavor, but overall much more mellow and less bitter on the finish than the related Crush. Not picking up on the juniper or spruce specifically. Good beer.
