Bottle shared at ExABC. Light hazy straw blonde with white head. Strong grassy and herbal hops light fruity sweet malts, grasshoppers. Light sweet, over medium bitter. Over medium body, slick, bit yoghurt-drink like texture, yeasty finish. Great pilsener! --- Beer merged from original tick of Fresh Cut Pilsner on 21 Nov 2017 at 15:37 - Score: 7. Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Clear lemony golden with small white head. Lots of fresh hop on the nose. Grassy, lemon, lime, light marijuana, crisp pills malts, light herbs and minerals. Under medium bitter and very light sweetness. Light bodied with crisp dry feel and creamy carbonation. Very nice.

Bottle @ home. Opaque dark brown color with a slight red glare coming through, medium sized beige head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is indeed dark malts and hops. Taste malts, quite roasty, firm bitterness, bitter hops. Decent body, medium carbonation.

Bottle from Shelburne Tap House.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a soft semi-hazy transparent yellow color. I poured fast to yield some head and so there was about a fingerβs worth and that dissipated at a nice pace. Stringy lacing here and there.
The smell had some soft spicy to semi-sweet grassy hops over top of a light cracker malt backbone.
The taste copied the smell pretty much the same way. Semi-spicy aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a nice sesionability about it. Carbonation feels good, semi-low with a nice cut from the spicy to grassiness hitting my tongue nicely.
Overall, for a pilsener, I liked it. Iβd say it leaned towards the Czech style, but then again, could be the yeast as well, since it is Peak Organic.
