Bottle pour into shaker pint glass from Epsom Circle Market, Epsom, NH. Aroma is herbs, light citrus. Appearance is hazy light yellow with nice sparkle, 1/2 finger-width white foamy head with decent lacing. Taste is herb, citrus, and light pine mild bitterness. Palate is light bodied with foamy/chewy texture and lively carbonation with dry, crisp finish. Overall, this was quite good--refreshing and easily drinkable (though Iโ€™m sure I didnโ€™t get the full effect as this was a little elderly). I liked the IPA-ness of this that sets it apart from a traditional pilsner--it works.

355ml bottle [8.2%abv]. Slightly cloudy, amber colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting and lacing, off-white head. Piney, slightly resinous and minimally fruity, hoppy aroma, cautious hints of orange, notes of coniferes in general, a touch of peanut, minimally cheesy as well. Taste is piney hoppy, slightly bitter, minimally sweet caramel malty basis with a nuttily touch, hints of peanut, dry, woody hints of coniferes, green wood, woodruff, a cautious touch of mint. Green, herbal, woody, catches the vernal reawakening of nature in the forest.

Bottle purchased at Julioโ€™s Liquors. Bottled on 4/20/15 on neck. Bright yellow with some lasting head retention. Aroma is lemongrass, and lemon peel.

The flavor has lasting lemongrass through the the center with lemon zest and lemon rind toward the back of sip. Has a lingering lemongrass bitterness. Some sweet malt of its over run by lemons. Did I mention this has some lemon? Itโ€™s not awful but not sure how they get away with labeling and calling this a saison. Overall a swallow level of flavor.

Pours a dark amber, almost a copper from a bottle. Aroma of cloying sweet maple syrup, almost buttery in aroma and flavor too. Rather overly sweet, which I suppose was to be expected. Iโ€™m also just not a fan of ambers. Meh.
