Slight haze, no head. Amber. Big malt, some biscuit and light fruitiness. Sticky, deep fruitiness, finishes with alcohol, burnt sugars, a brandyish sort of toasty barrel note. Quite good.

Pale, thin head. Bright. Somewht tart, a bit of an off-note, medium body, some bitterness. Ok, does seem to need work.

On tap at Chuck's CD, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is quite herbal and grassy, with subdued straw, and overripe melon in back. Flavour is not particularly well-calibrated, with grsss, overripe melon, and straw. Seems deficient on the hops, but is at least clean-bodied. Meh.

On tap at Pine Box, pours a murky dark mahogany with a medium beige head. Aroma is pretty soft, with lots of bready malt, subdued toasted caramel and a hint of oak. Flavour is very malty, with lots of bready malt, toasted caramel, and a touch of oak. Low-to-moderate residue sweetness in the way of brown sugar (for the style). Very good.

For Beastiefan :) clean crisp and bitter finish. Draft pour pint enjoyed at Standard. Clean clear, shiny golden appearance. Easy drinking, with a sharp front. Subtle pulse like grains and a touch of mineral and grassy character. Clean, crisp finish. Bring the heat, bring the pilsner. Tasty.

Draft pour at Hop and Hound. Fun style to find brewed by a local. Pours a copper appearance with plenty of foam head and lacing. A little dry, plenty of toasty malt flavor here. Bran like grain throughout, with a constant lingering palate. Mild and easy drinking. Enjoyed this one.

16 oz can. 2021 vintage. Shows a pitch black liquid with fast fleeting white head. Aroma a soft heaven hill bourbon with chocolate malt. Flavor shows molasses, dark fruit and mild bourbon after the sip. Body is almost thick with a smoother texture. Just below top tier.
