On tap at Standard, pours a hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out bready malts and light nuttiness. Flavour brings out bready malt and lovely dry wood to this. Quite a lot of character for the style. Really nice.

Sampler at brewery. I’ve had this a few times overbite past 2 years. It’s definitely an impy stout, it’s not hop centric. The etoh is def felt. There is a alcohol sweetness. Given all that, there is a light fruity yeast character that stands out. It’s not syruppy, well attenuated body. If I want a 12% impy, this would be the one. Dark brown beer.

Sampler at brewery. Mosiax, it’s an ok hop, it’s all mosiac here. The clean malt character is great. But the hop is ok, I can drink this but I won’t pay for it agian.

Sampler at brewery. Very murky beer, soil-pale color. No clarity. Long story short, I dont like citra. Sweaty bitter socks.

Sampler at brewery. Cloudy beer, rare for the brewery. Sweet hops mix with pot hops. Love the sweet hops, which end the flavor. Having less pot hops would be nicer. The sweet hops are super tropical. No alcohol dominance and love the hop sweetness.

Sampler at brewery. Golden, clear color. It’s a bitter, dry green hops, just dry light bitterness that is offputting cause there isn’t much.

Sampler at brewery. Yup this is a berliner, not that Kool aid a lot of new stuff being made. Light, eggy, tart lacto, sharp, short, super quaffable. Love it.

Sampler at brewery. Very dark brown, glass coating tan lacing. Everything is so well attenuated so when tobacco, prune, crisp and clean brown malts mix, it’s just a treat. A very earthy brown sweetness without the sugars. Not at all boozy, and not much different from the barrel version.

Sampler at brewery. Dark copper color, clear. Aroma: lightly toffee, light very clean toast. Flavor, I feel like a I get a little dry wood but who knows. A light malt sweetness, very clean, light sparkling carbonation. Bread malts stick around in the aftertaste. As per usual, everuthin gnome is fabulous.

Sampled from the tap at the Chuck’s Hop Shop 85th. Pours a clear copper with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has strong pine with some grapefruit supporting and a bit of grain. Flavor has bitter pine with a bit of onion, a hint of grapefruit and light grain backbone.
