Poured from 473mL can. Clear amber gold with small light beige head. Decent smoke, light malt, not bad.

473mL can, pours a clear dark amber with a medium tan head. Aroma reveals a nice campfire smoked malt character, with bready malt and a touch of ash. Flavour is true to style, with lots of campfire smoked malt, light ash, and bready malt. Nicely smoky and malty, with fairly low residual sweetness. Well-made.

Pale, bright, not much head. Malts are a touch flabby and there’s a bit of acetaldehyde. Mellow herbaceous hops and moderate bitterness. Ok. I prefer more of the northern style of German pils myself

Dark brown. good toasty notes, a bit of sweet toffee, and maybe cola. But it’s all in good fun, I like this one.

But hazy, amber-brown. Not much head so all told not the best look. Sweet, much too sweet, cloying and with a bit of bubblegum. I mean the haze told me something was wonky and yeah this one’s a miss.

Dark amber, nice and smoke. Malts are good, light caramel, ok a touch flabby but this is a solid rauchbier.
