Some interesting toffee nose, dark brown. Very sweet, vanilla,, aunt jemima, butter- flavoured aunt jemima. Too much like Lions Winter Ale for me.

Golden brown, no head, very sweet, little toasty...simple but hits the style well enough.

On tap the the Pat. Big diacteyl, lots of artificial stawberry, now that’s a combo.

On tap at Pat's Pub, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bready malt and gentle toasted caramel. Flavour is very malty, with toasted caramel and bready malt. Not particularly pleasing, but it's alright.

On tap at Pat's Pub, pours a cloudy, murky orange with a small white head. Aroma is full of diacetyl, with subdued strawberry sickly sweet honey - smells horrendous. Flavour is disgusting, with cloyingly sweet strawberry, nasty honey, and diacetyl. Infected, nasty shit.

On tap at Pat's Pub, pours a clear golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, harsh earthy notes, and biscuity malt. Flavour is a little confused, with earthy hops, biscuity malt, yeast, and some pine. Earthy and yeasty, with a lingering bitterness. Decent.

On tap at Pat's Pub, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out caramel malt, with a little vanilla, and bready malt. Flavour is sweet as hell, full of syrup, a little vanilla, and some red fruits. Sweet and syrupy. Fun beer, but could use some work.

On tap at Pat's Pub, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out bready malt and subdued earthy hops. Flavour is murky, with bready malt, earthy hops, and filthy yeast. Cloudy and muddled. Meh.

On tap at the mighty and venerable Pat's Pub. Good brown body with minimal foam, heavy sweet sugary molasses on the nose. Flavour is sweet heavy molasses and chocolate. Cloying sugary aftertaste. Not awful but certainly not great.

On tap at Pat's Pub but you probably guessed that. Has an okay sweetness with some barley on the nose. Decent foam is on top of a very dark brown body. Flavour is nice fruity sweetness with hints of berry in there. Medium finish. It's just an oldschool microbrew porter and fits well with the pub's vibe.
