On tap at Chuck’s Seward Park, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of grassiness, some alcohol, and sweet cereal malt. Flavour has plenty of sweet cereal malts, light grassiness, and some doughy, bready malt. A little sweet but nicely structured. Excellent.

On tap at Chuck's - Seward Park. Pours clear light gold with a white head. Dry grass, some hay, pale malts on the nose. Flavour has biscuit malts and some dry grass. It's fine, fairly inoffensive and uninteresting.

On tap at Old Stove - Ballard, pours a clear pale golden blonde with small white head. Aroma reveals plenty of rustic, floral yeast, and plenty of dry-hopping. Flavour is bitter and floral, with plenty of floral notes, rustic saison yeast and bitter dry-hopping that works well. Reasonably balanced and expressive, even if not particularly authentic or on-style. Good.

2023 batch, draft at source - clear deep purple - deep dark fruit flavors of plum, black cherry - caramelized sugars - moderate spicy yeast phenolics - acidity is a tiny bit sharp on the tail end, but does bring the fruity esters of the yeast out a bit - nice texture - some slight imbalance keeps me from a 4.

On tap at the brewery. Brown with small beige head. Vague resemblance of a porter. Bitter, almost no chocolate, some cocoa, watery. Tad sweet.

Draft pour pint at Tapped, Mill Creek. Darkest brown pour, tan foam lasting head, sticky lacing. Bold, robust malt up front with an aggressive bitterness. Late espresso like sharp palate. Toasty and flavorful. Piney hop bill. Strong but easy drinking. What happened to this style? Why aren't more folks making these?. So good.

From City Brew Tours, no dating.
It pours a dark brown/red with a fine layer of foam, excellent lacing.
The smell is roasted malt, chocolate, biscuit, with a lactose like aroma.
The taste is roasted malt, biscuit, chocolate, no lactose flavour. Earthy is another attribute?
Medium bodied, good carbonation.
I don't know what makes this an English Porter. It is good.
