11th October 2008. GABF. Clear brown beer. Sweet spicy brown ale - malty. Cool crisp dry finish. Very drinkable.

Creamy orange in color with a white head. Sweet aroma with malts, mango, light citrus, some light spices, as well. Flavor was fairly sweet, too. Malty, mango, some orange, and very light spices. Refreshing and easy drinking in the warmth of a Maui afternoon. My girlfriend really enjoyed this one and we ended up with a growler of it in our fridge.

Very dark maybe black with a lighter than expected head. Smooth malty flavor with light roast and mid-range hopping. Like most of the specials at the brewpub this one was very easy drinking and solid overall, but maybe not spectacular. I’d get it again, though.

Had at the Brewpub. Hoppy, citrus, light malts, crisp in body and finish. A very solid pale. Refreshing and easy to drink. A very sessionable APA.

Can. Pour looks kind of like a cola with a fizzy head, carbonation sticking to the side of the glass. Aromas are decent... kind of a sweet chocolate a little bit of nondescript sweetness I’d call coconut if it weren’t so obvious. Flavor is very nice... a light chocolate base with quite a bit of sweetness and a thin and effervescent body (especially for the style.) Coconut is present in the very tail end of the finish and a little bit of a metallic edge is there as well, which is the only complaint I could raise.

Crisp and clean. Light hops and some malt for a bit of body. This is an excellent and highly refreshing summer drinker- though it went down just fine in the middle of the mild Maui winter. (Draught at the brewpub)

Brown with a nice tan head. Not much in the way of hops. Some chocolate and toasted caramel malt. Very brown ale like. A very easy session ale that I could stick with all night.
