Courtesy of tpd975. Pours deep amber with tan head. The aroma starts with notes of dark maltiness followed by some caramel and then a load of chocolate. No coconut noticed in the nose at all. The taste is full on coconut to go along with some roastiness and malty sweetness. Those notes are followed by chocolate notes and some nuttiness.

12 oz can from my Secret Santa. Thanks! Hazy brownish red pour with slight hazy and lively effervescence. Big, frothy head. Nice citrus, floral hop aroma. Spicy, fresh hop taste with notes of green apple. Medium body.

12 oz. can from my Secret Santa! Reddish brown pour with a medium head. Big chocolate aroma with less than assertive coconut notes. Same with the taste, though the chocolate is a little more on the bitter side. A little on the watery side.

Pours with a absolutely huge, tight, rocky, brown head covering a red tinged, dark brown body. Aromas of chocolate, dry coffee, some fresh and toasted coconut, and other exotic fruits (maybe lychee?). Taste has a strong toasted coconut element to it. Slightly metallicy with lots of dark malts. Mouthfeel is a bit confused with a syrupy texture, but fizzy carbonation. By the way, the cans seem quite flimsy, as two of them exploded comming back from the beer store on the freeway in a luxury sedan!

Can from BevMo. Copper/amber color with a multifinger beige head. Impressive citrus/floral hop aroma. Flavor is lightly roasted caramel with floral hop. This comes on more like an English ESB than a NorthWest IPA. Oh, it’s not a NorthWest IPA. Rather smooth and lightly bitter finish. Extremely pleasant and tasty.

Sample at the Most Honorable SuperHappyFun Stout Tasting. Can courtesy of a traveling coworker. This beer pours a dark brown/mahogany color with a medium thin beige head that diminishes steadily. Aroma of coconut and roasted pralines. Medium body with flavors of coconut milk, roasted nuts and dark chocolate. Touches of hops as well. The finish is creamy with a mild coconut aftertaste. Interesting and enjoyable overall.

Can. Dark aromas of roasted/toasted malt, choco/coffee and something that might be coconut. Dark brown/black color with a tan smear for head. Medium body with fizzy carbonation which turns smooth. Flavor is chocolate, coffee, coconut and dark roasted malt. Not exactly burnt, but going that direction. It’s a bit peppery at the finish, which seems neither sweet nor bitter. Rather powerful flavors, so this should be last rather than first.

Can. Pale golden color with a decent white head. Light grassy aroma over pale malt. Medium body with crisp carbonation. Starts a bit citrus and bitter. Crisp and clean. No corniness/graininess at all. Every drink has a fresh start. The finish is mildly bitter. More lagers should taste this good.

Reddish-brown colour. Somewhat scant aroma has toasty/toffeeish notes. Rich toffee malts, some metallic character. The finish is a bit harsh on the alcohol. Big and chewy, enjoyable if completey lacking refinement.
