5oz Draft at brewery. This is another one of those typical American Belgian ales named Saison bc that is the new "in" term. A little too sweet, a little too slick esteriness, and a lot too much of a bastardization.

5oz Draft at brewery. Pale hazy color, low clarity. Flavor I’d tart with artificial peach. Lemon citrus and a blunted lacto character. The aroma has such an artifical peach character, like gum. Tartness sticks around. Just doesn’t appeal to me from the fake peach to the unsharp lacto and tartness parts. Though it seems to be popular at the bar right now.

Draft pour pint at Hellbent. I’m at the point where I’ve had all the available beers so I take advantage of the intriguing guest taps of breweries I wish I visited more. Galaxy hops are my favorite team in the league. Pours pale golden, with tons of carb, and an endless cream foam head. Citrus forward aroma. Flavor is sweet grapefruit, satisfying grains, geerous hops, ad a ligerinf sweet citrus. A go to type IPA for me. Very nice.

Draft pour pint at the 192 lake trail taproom. Clear and shiny golden pour with almost no head. Big time fruity aroma. A lot of citrus flavor with a hint of sweetness. Juicy hop longer mouth feel with a bitter late thought. Slightly better than your standard solid IPA. Enjoyed this.

On tap at Seapine, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma is fairly laid back, with bready malts and a touch of dark fruitiness. Flavour is similar, with notes of bready malt, dark fruits and tobacco. Dry and lightly fruity. Fairly decent.

On tap at Seapine, pours a clear bronze with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of dry bready malt and a touch of spicy hops - smells bone dry. Flavour is pretty dull, with bone dry bready malt and fairly spicy hops. Not much going on - seems overattenuated. Meh.

On tap at Seapine, pours a filthy dark brown / near-black with a small tan head. Aroma reveals notes of lactose upfront, followed by light coffee and cocoa notes. Flavour is quite thin for a milk stout: there are notes of lactose and coffee, but the body is very thin. Missing something here, despite the flavours being alright.

On tap at Seapine, pours s hazy blonde / yellow with a small white head. Aroma reveals notes of subdued peaches, salt and tangy citrus - it's all pretty laid back though. Flavour is more pronounced on all these elements, with lots of tart citrus upfront, followed by a healthy addition of peaches, and medium salt. Wonderfully balanced and harmonious. Highly drinkable and well-made. Great stuff.

On tap at Seapine, pours a reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out notes of earthy coffee upfront - unusual for the style but it seems intentional. Flavour is similar, with lots of earthy coffee grounds characterizing this. The earthiness is lovely here, imparting all the right nuances. Very good stuff.

On tap at Seapine, pours a clear golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of melon and citrusy hops - quite tropical. Flavour is similar, with loads of tropical fruits, including melon and guava, followed by mounds of citrus hops. Nice enough but not overly characteristic. Good IPA.
