4.5/10 β€” Appearance 6 Aroma 5 Flavor 4 Texture 4 Overall 4
On tap at Seapine, pours a hazy golden blonde with a medium white head. Aroma brings out diacetyl, pine, and biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with diacetyl, some pine, and crackery malt. Ruined by the butter. Undrinkable.

On tap at Seapine, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings moderate dank hops, with a crisp biscuity malt base. Flavour is along the same lines, with piney hops, light dankness, and crisp biscuity malt. Clean and balanced, but nothing formidable.

6.5/10 β€” Appearance 8 Aroma 7 Flavor 6 Texture 6 Overall 6
On tap at Seapine, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of whiskey barrels, lots of oak, and booze. Flavour is cloyingly sweet, with loads of sweet caramelized sugar, moderate whiskey barrels, and light booze. Carbonation is on the higher side, and so is the sweetness. Nothing necessarily wrong with this, but it's lacking refinement. Still, a good beer.

On tap at Seapine, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out fresh piney hops, with a crisp crackery malt underbelly. Flavour is very fresh, with vibrant piney hops upfront, and a crisp crackery malt backbone. Bright and balanced. Excellent by the books IPA.

On tap at Seapine, pours a cloudy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out dank hops, some pine and herbal notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with dank hops, citrus and a touch of tartness from the hops. Decently constructed but not terribly cohesive. Okay.

3.9/10 β€” Appearance 6 Aroma 4 Flavor 4 Texture 2 Overall 3.5
On tap at Seapine, pours a hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is somewhat dank, with a fair bit of diacetyl - ugh. Flavour is ruined by the diacetyl, with subdued piney hops and biscuity malt. Something went very wrong here.

Draft pour, 8 oz, enjoyed at Seapine. A dark, dense black pour, strange patchy active fizz head. A stronger than expected imperial for its 8.5% tag. A rich doughy malt, with a milk chocolate. Not harsh, but certainly a little too sweet. The boo-rbon really comes through well on this. Pretty smooth. Got better as it went. Enjoyed this one.

Draft pour at Seapine. A slight pale golden pour, a patchy fizz head. Aroma reminds me of a more tropical note. Maybe some pineapple. Pretty juicy up front, but remains bold in the finish. Grain and hops balance well. Good beer.

Draft 8 oz pour at Seapine. Borderline hazy golden orange pour, thin rocky head. Flavor is a bitter citrus peel, and a smooth taste. Cool and a more fresh fruit like nose. Otherwise a pretty classic unfiltered IPA, and quite refreshing and enjoyable. Good stuff.
