Combining beer and Foo Fighters is LITERALLY combining my two favorite things. I never use that word, but it fits here. I drank about 7 pints of this beer on the concert weekend. Glad there is a little left for me to return to and actually semi think about notes on it. It's delicious. Hazy golden yellow pour. Rich citrus hops. Smooth taste. Balanced with the grain. A pale that I have happily helped consume. I've always said that a lot to do with a beer is the experience surrounding it. This Dirty Water Pale will go down as one of the most memorable brews ever for me. Enjoyed over and over before seeing my favorite band, all while surrounded by my closest friends and family. Is there anything much better than that? Soft bitter finish, and refreshing enough to keep the pints coming over and over. One of the Foo Fighters shows I saw, Dave stopped in the middle of the show and said that he saw a giant sign that said one word on it. Beer. Then he smiled and said that it's amazing that a simple 4 letter word can bring so much happiness to so many people. True!! Now this beer is bringing back memories! Love it.

Draft pour pint at Bottle works. A lighter, hazy pale gold pour with a patchy foam head. Juicy melon centered hop aroma and flavor. Really nice. Has the slightest hop bite. Late lingering green melon flavor. Best I got to describe this one. Very nice.

Draft pour pint at Hop and Hound. A clean, shiny golden orange pour. A more classic IPA feel for me, which is nice. Bold malt backbone to this. Does have quite a big sweet side to it as well, which wasn't so obvious at first. Cool, piney hops. Rich caramel malt. A touch of nutty grain to finish late. Well balanced, and drinks really nicely. Love the balance of refreshing cool pine and caramel malt here. One crushed pint here.

Draft pour at the Hop and Hound. A mostly clean, bright golden pour with plenty of cream foam head. Aroma is mostly typical of the style. A soft straw like grain. Nothing to dominant. Flavor is refreshing up front. Cracker like grains all throughout. Slightly watery, but not enough to take away from this. Minimal on the plastic like notes I get in the style sometimes, so this is good for sure. Flavorful, and again, refreshing. Solid pils.

32oz crowler, courtesy of Alex, pours with an opaque deep gold body that supports a full white head that leaves behind sheet lacing. The aroma offers up a pulse dank onion spiciness and the a pleasing bouquet of tropical papaya, cantaloupe and guava. The taste delivers a wonderful blend of spicy dank hoppiness and sweet juicy papaya, cantaloupe and cantaloupe yum. Oh man. This is --money--.

They certainly didn't hide the vanilla in this. Draft 8 oz pour at Seapine, left over from their anniversary. Cheers, guys! Near black pour. Sweet, creamy oats. Moderate chocolate. Mild coffee. Near overwhelming vanilla, but I love vanilla, so it's all good. Good version of a good stout.

Draft 8 oz pour at Seapine. Anniversary leftovers! Bright amber pour. Malt forward as expected. Quite a fitting seasonal Amber. A warming feel towards the end. I swear I get the slightest hint of cherry in this. Cherry and bitters. Totally in board with that. A memorable Amber, which I find unique. Very good.

Draft pour pint at Seapine. Missed the anniversary party by a day, but maybe a few beers are left over. Juicy, hazy golden orange pour. Huge citrus fruit constant, with a bold grain background. Bright fruit flavor, though the linger seems quite bitter to me. Melon and citrus hops fill the aroma. Cool, juicy IPA. Good stuff.

Draft pour pint at Hop and Hound. A beautiful, glowing orange pour. If color and appearance were ever the ultimate decider, this is the beer. Thick foam cap head. Toasty, moderately rich caramel notes throughout. Bready malt, with a little plastic on the back half. Very cool lingering palate. End result is mugger sweeter than I typically enjoy, but this was quite an impressive display of the style. A truly unique and enjoyable brew. Very nice.
