At Skillet, Seattle. Pours clear pale golden with a thin, off-white head. The aroma contains hops, herbs, pine, some mango. It tastes medium to heavy bitter with light sweet hints. Long dry finish, medium body, fizzy carbonation, creamy texture. Enjoyable.

Lightly hazy golden with a white head. Bready malt, hay, some sweet notes. Finish needs some crispness to it. Decent.

Draft pour pint at Beer Authority, Lake City. Lighter hazy golden pour with a full two inches of thick mousse foam head. Some melon fruit, hop aroma. Flavor more tropical, with a ton of pineapple. Creamy, and very tropical fruit heavy in the late linger. A fun tasty IPA here. On board with this one.

Draft 7 oz pour at Toronado, Seattle, for the Rye barrel event. So many different styles aged in a Rye barrel. Fun stuff. Milk Stout was one of the more intriguing offerings to me. Pours black with a quick fading head. Soft, doughy, sweet aroma. Flavor is very cream heavy, sweet and vanilla milk stout. Cool, and refreshing for the style. Not much barrel impression, though it is there. Chocolate milk in a beer. Very tasty sweet stout for sure.

Draft 6 oz pour at Seapine, Seattle. A bright orange, thick pour with a near infinite foam head and lacing. Missed a ton of hop mob, so here I am at the source of one, trying to catch up. Enjoyed side by side with the double version. Similar, though the triple has a much larger warming feel. Bolder flavor. Earthy malt and hop character. A subtle sweet side to the triple, but has an opposite vegetal side as well. Dense, creamy, but.as an overall, it’s good. Big league beer for sure. I like it.

Draft 8 oz pour at Seapine, Seattle. Hazy golden orange.pour with a rocky loose foam head. Aroma is sweet malt, orange fruit, and a potent indicator. Smoother flavor, with piney and grassy hops, earthy malt and hop constant and a sweet remainder. Not the most standout imperial for me, but a lot of pleasant notes going on here. Most importantly, to second Eugene, another DIPA that mcberko hasn’t had. HAHA.

Draft pour pint at Seapine, Seattle. Being one of my go to brewers for a good IPA in Seattle, I felt I needed to get down here and enjoy at the source. I swear Seapine was at a different location last time, but I could be wrong. Oh well, new place, new beer, both are good. A glowing tang orange pour with a rocky foam head. Peaches and pineapple, tropical fruit aroma. Flavor is cool, juicy and refreshing up front, with some orange cream that lingers. Vanilla, cereal grains. Creamy and very fruity. Almost too juicy for me. Has an obvious sweetness there. Overall another pleasant IPA offering from these guys. This place isn’t too far from the Safe. I might need to swing in here more.

32 oz crowler poured, filled at Special Brews. Pouring this beer just let about a wave of juicy tropical and citrus fruit. Very refreshing. Off to an amazing start. Seapine is always good, especially with these hoppy selections. A lighter golden orange pour with a ton of rocky foam head. Perhaps the most distinct hop profiles. A good one too. Very juicy pale, near abesent bitterness. Fruity mango hop constant, oranges, and very refreshing. Yum!
