On tap at Knotty, pours a hazy amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and light caramel. Flavour is robust, with bready caramel and toasted biscuity. Very nicely constructed, with a fairly crisp hot bite at the end. Unusually robust for an alt, but decent.

Draft - Grains and some light bread. Clear gold with a rich white head. Grains nd light bitter bready notes. Good for the style.

Dark amber. Malt bomb. Light chocolate in toasted malt. Too heavy. Not a bad beer but in no way a fest beer.

On tap at Knotty Barrel, San Diego. Pours orange with small white head. Malty, some light fruit, light bitterness in finish, sweetish. Light to medium bodied.

Decent beer, but nothing spectacular about it for the style. Fairly complex, but not full bodied enough to make it great. Knotty in SD.

Ummm not so good of an ipa considering how easy ipas are to make. It's way to thin to to support the hops. SD brewery.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear orange gold with small white head. The aroma is grass and citrus. Medium body, grass, biscuit, light finish, decent.
