Bottle from Waitrose, Stroud. Pale gold and very fizzy. I’m with Hughie on this one. The sweet, semi-industrial apple aroma suggested this was a poor bottled cider, like something Thatchers routinely produce. However, the zesty, juicy apple flavours with a decent tart edge in the finish saved the day. Drinkable.

Bottle that I picked up at Waitrose, Great Shelford, Cambridge, consumed 21-06-09 Pours pale golden, livley carbonation. The nose is a touch sweet, but its reassuringly very appley. Tangy apple bite with some good tartness, its a refreshing crisp cider with enough to keep me interested. A6 A3 F6 P3 Ov12 3.0

75cl bottle. clear light yellow, no head. aroma faint aroma, a little sourness. flavor . sweet apple, balanced with light sourness. tastes almost cellared, quite smooth and balanced. re-rate at papsø tasting. clear yellow, small white head. aroma is faint, a little apple flavor is sweet apple, citrussy tinge, a little like ice cider

bottle 70cl, eroski supermarket , aLcudia spain sour aroma, vineagra. clear sparkling yellow, lots of bubble, no head. flavor is a strange mix of cork, sweet ripe apples and sour notes also some acidity in there. too all-over-the-place.

Mild aroma, with light hazelnut. Semi-dry mouthfeel, some apple flavor, mild acidity. Plain.

Blond color; very nice perlage. Good, close to a sparkling wine, but not very complex. The El Gaitero Extra is better.
