On tap at North Fork, pours a clear pink with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of vinous notes, red wine, and some earthy rhubarb. Flavour is moderately acidic, with plenty of wine barrels, acidic cherries, some rhubarb, and balsamic. Nice vinous character but too acidic. It’s okay.

On tap at North Fork, pours a lightly hazed golden with a small white head. Aroma is extremely hot, with low-quality rum, booze, and some clove. Flavour is a hot, boozy mess of low-quality rum and burnt fermented out sugars. I don’t detect any of the strange ingredients, as the harsh rum barrel totally dominates and ruins this. Entertaining but this is hot garbage.

On tap at North Fork, pours a cloudy muddled amber with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of earthy hops, bready malt, and muddled resins. Flavour is very muddled, with a bunch of earthy, yeasty nonsense polluting this. No real hop discernment. Really disappointing.

On tap at North Fork, pours a deep dark mahogany brown with a small beige head. Aroma has plenty of red wine barrels, some cognac, balsamic notes, Worcestershire notes, and some dark dried fruits. Flavour is rather acidic, with plenty of red wine, cognac, balsamic, Worcestershire, and light red fruits. A bit too acidic to be the level of refinement you want but there’s some nice for elements. Pleasant—good effort.

On tap at North Fork, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is fairly old school, with lots of bittering hops, some grapefruit, and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is quite bitter, with plenty of piney hops, grapefruit peel, and a biscuity malt base. Quite bitter without having much character. Good old school westy.

On tap at Elizabeth Station, pours a hazy dark reddish amber with a small white head. Aroma has a great, complex brett expression, with tart berries, soft wheat, and maybe a hint of peach acidity. Flavour reveals a next-level Berliner, showcasing that great brett, soft wheat, lightly tart, dry and yet juicy beriess. Yeah, this brett and fruit character work wonderfully. One of the best fruited Berliners I can remember having in recent years.

Draft at the Shrine in Deming. Clear bright golden color scant white head. Aroma of tropical fruit and pine. Taste has intense bitterness and pine resin. A bit too rough for my taste.
