On tap at the brewery pours out crisp clean straw topped with a white head. Nose is sweet grain some light grass. Taste is more of the nice touch of grain and grassy hop note.

On tap at the Boise taproom. Mostly clear light pale yellow with a quick fizzy white head . Expected light slightly corny malts a bit more bittering hops than I expected. Not super clean/dry. The Lime wedge squeezed into that last 2 oz actually tasted pretty good

12 oz can from Buckeyboy. Thanks. Pours a roan brown color with a small off-white head. The aroma is dust, nuts and cocoa. The taste is toffee, walnuts and something earthy. The palate is light but effective. carbonation is soft and fizzy. Finishes with an earthy-astringent quality. Overall: decent brown ale.

On Tap at the brewewry/taproom. Clear deep chestnut color with a full lasting dense tan had Very nice pour. Rather toasty, darker than I expected, caramel and wheat toasty aromas and flavors. Well attenuated, and some hop bite that comes over as a woody bitterness. Bold and robust for an amber. Good

5oz pour at downtown Brewhall. Clear, dark brown, flat. Tart, woody aroma, wine, barrel notes. Taste brings more sourness, sweet, plums with bourbon sneaking through. Right on for a Flanders (hi-diddly-oh neighbor).

Draft at downtown Brewhall. Almost black pour with a thin, tight beige head and solid lacing. Rich, roasty aroma with a touch of chocolate. Taste brings more of that roasty bite, not that hoppy, but tons of dark malts. A deviation from the BiB formula, but always nice to see a CDA on the menu.

Draft at downtown Brewhall. Pale golden, clear, lazy carbonation. I opted out of the lime slice. Clean malty, bready aroma. Taste is more of the grainy flavors, any adjuncts or corn are not readily detectable. With a dry finish and tiny bitter bite, it almost drinks like a pils.

Draft at Cole Rd location. Dark, clear amber, soft creamy head, solid lacing. Malty aroma, brown bread, toasty. Taste continues with the malty flavors, bread and adds a edge of bitterness. Finishes a bit dry, but super tasty.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a relatively thick two to three centimetre tall tan head that stays afloat nicely. Aroma of almonds, walnuts, a dash of yeast and bread with some soft lactose and caramelised sugars towards the finish, but the malt dominates here. Medium-bodied; Slight creamy and milky quality noticeable at first with some nuts and earthiness right behind and malt with a good hit of caramelised sugars and rustic qualities with the sweetness creeping through at the end and showing stronger than the malts. Aftertaste shows some nuttiness and rustic qualities with a lactic and creamy bite and a good dose of sugars throughout, all with the nuts and malt stronger than anything else. Overall, a nice nutty and earthy beer with a slight creamy and lactose flavour with smooth sugars, but a nice rounded bite throughout. Good to sample and well worth the space in my suitcase! I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Marceller's Vintage Wines & Brews in Idaho Falls, Idaho on 04-August-2020 for US$2,10 sampled at my house back on the other coast in Washington on 19-January-2021.

There are some clear brewing flaws in this can. It is thin and papery acidic. Fermented with homebrew cheap dry yeast it seems. Sk adventkal
